International Language Studies
Helping you to learn English faster by speaking with a native American Speaker.

Welcome to International Language Studies, your home for materials, stories and resources for English as a Second Language students and teachers. We use Skype to talk to students on a weekly basis. We would love to speak to you! We have been talking to some students for over 8 years into more than 20 different countries around the world. We have taught using: Skype, Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger, and in the classroom.

We have helped students pass TOEFL, TOEIC, and IELTS for immigration and studying in the US, Canada, Australia, and the UK.

In our classes we use various materials from books, workbooks, and internet resources. Included are several original stories which include vocabulary and comprehension questions. We stress improvement in English through reading, writing and conversational skills.

The materials uploaded here are appropriate for children and adults alike.

For permission to use the stories on this site, please send me an e-mail and tell me the purpose.
I would love your feedback on how helpful they may have been for your students. Thank you
